I just want to say thank you and goodbye to all.  Due to personal family reasons I am leaving Bubba Funk. I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the creation of Bubba Funk and am so proud of where it sits today.  I am really sad to be leaving, but am looking forward to focusing on other areas in my life.  A MASSIVE thank you to all the wonderful Bubba Funk customers and suppliers that I personally dealt with.  It has been a wonderful experience and I have met some great people.

Mariana has taken over the reigns, and I know she will continue to nurture Bubba Funk and maintain the exceptional standard of quality, style and customer service that exists today. I personally want to thank Mariana for her friendship, sharing this amazing experience with me, and for her understanding during this difficult time for me.  I wish her all the best of luck.

Don’t get me wrong….mums around the world definitely deserve all the appreciation and spoiling we sometimes hardly get (boo hoo). But quite often those dads out there get TOTALLY forgotten, with new mums and bubs getting all the attention, and treats.

….have we got some gorgeous things arriving soon!!  The trade show in Melbourne was a huge success for us.  We caught up with many of our wonderful suppliers, stocked up on all their new ranges, and discovered a few new gems. Not only has Melissa designed this product to be compact + functional, she has managed to keep it stylish + sophisticated. The unique design looks like a smart clutch bag, fits neatly into most handbags and holds everything required for changing a baby or toddler on the go. It’s the nappy wallet you’ve been waiting for!

Mariana and I discovered the gorgeous range of Skeanie Soft Soled Baby Shoes and Faux-fur Lined Boots at the Kids In Style trade show.  They are made of a soft, high quality genuine leather upper to allow your baby’s tiny feet to breathe and grow naturally. And the suede sole helps provide them with grip whilst crawling of walking.

We know winter will be coming to an end soon…but we couldn’t resist ordering in their luxurious winter boots (available in chocolate, navy + pink).   But we also got some summer sandals in early to balance it all up:)

Oh, and by the way…..I would have to say the best coffee I had in Melbourne was at Brown Sugar.  A funky little café in the alley way off Little Collins St, that also has scrumptious breakfast.  Mmmm……

Well we have finally found a moment to start our blog. So hi and welcome:) We are so excited that Bubba Funk has launched! The first month has been somewhat chaotic, but definitely in a good way. Thank you to all of you that have provided wonderful feedback.

This weekend we are off to lovely Melbourne to check out the trade shows and try and source some new funky products for you.  We are both so looking forward to visiting the shows (ok and maybe a weekend away from the kids too…lol).  

We love Sydney but Melbourne just rocks for us coffee lovers!  Do any of your Mebournites want to share your pick for the best cafe around Melbourne CBD?  Maybe Mariana & I can test it out next weekend and let you know if we agree!! Mmmm…….fresh coffee.
