Basic Sizing Guidelines

0000 Newborn/Premmies
000 0 - 3 months
00 3 - 6 months
0 6 - 12 months
1 12 - 18 months
18 mths 14 - 22 months
2 18 months - 2+ years

Please note that this is a rough guide only. There will be variations in sizing between brands. When known, we will advise if a product runs "larger" or "smaller" than the standard sizing in the product description. However, the following suggestions will hopefully provide some assistance:

Brands that generally run slightly larger in cut:

Oobi Baby - Particularly their summer 07/08 range

Brands that generally run slightly smaller in cut:

Quilt Baby - Their onesies are a snug fit, and we recommend going up a size if your bubs is above average in height or weight.

Heavenly Creatures - The tees are a snug fit.

Wondering what size to buy a new baby?

Precious bubba's spend the majority of their first 3 months in onesies and wrapped up rightly. So, if you are buying anything other than these sort of items we suggest the "safe" option is to purchase either size 00 (3 - 6 months) or size 0 (6 - 12 months). This will ensure they get more wear out of your gift, and also allows for differences in birth weights.

Footwear Sizing

Along with any shoe size, the heel-to-toe measurement in centimetres (cm) or all footwear is also listed. This should be taken as a gude only.

Allow 1/2 to 1 cm extra when selecting shoe size.

Another tip is to externally measure the length of a shoe that your child is currently wearing comfortably and compare it to the measurement we have listed.
